Tenerife, tourist destination par excellence.
An amazing island due to its diversity, climate and authenticity… Discover its colours, flavours, microclimates and volcanic nature. Tenerife is a contrast of cities and rural mountain towns, magnificent beaches, an infinite number of commercial and cultural options, all of which is combined with a spectacular landscape, countless places to explore and the most authentic cuisine. The island of eternal spring, the largest of the Canary Islands archipelago, is the ideal place for treating yourself to the best holidays. If you’d like, we can help you plan your experience in Tenerife. To do so, don’t hesitate to ask us for the proposals that our collaborators at La Gaveta Voladora have prepared.
Puerto de la Cruz
The first tourists who came to the Canary Islands came to this place, which has not lost any of its maritime atmosphere, despite the hundreds of travellers it receives every year. It is the smallest municipality in Tenerife, however it is home to many attractions such as its protected historic centre or expansive waterfront, perfect for going on long and peaceful walks. It has managed to keep its fishing pier intact, where small boats dock at dawn with lots of fresh fish. Sitting in the Plaza del Charco square or watching as the waves break on the coast of San Telmo, with the spectacular Lago Martiánez in the background, is simply sublime.

Hotel San Telmo Mar and culture are two concepts that go hand in hand. We get involved in local cultural events by collaborating directly with numerous international festivals of art, theatre, film, music and literature that are held in Puerto de la Cruz throughout the year and by hosting many participating artists. Check the calendar of cultural events to make sure you don’t miss any.
